Upper Northern Beaches, Sydney

Mobile occupational therapy across Palm Beach, Avalon, Newport, Bilgola, Mona Vale and surrounding suburbs.

What is Paediatric OT?

Paediatric occupational therapy supports children to develop the skills they need for everyday life. This might include handwriting and classroom participation, managing emotions, sensory needs, attention and organisation, coordination, play and social understanding, as well as managing self-care routines such as dressing, tying shoelaces and using cutlery.

Therapy is tailored to each child’s strengths and needs and designed to be fun and engaging. Through play, movement and activities they enjoy, children can build skills and confidence that make a meaningful difference at home, at school and in everyday life.

Annie is a paediatric occupational therapist providing mobile OT services across the Upper Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Annie has been working as an occupational therapist since 2015 and also completed a major in psychology as part of her undergraduate studies. Through her career she has worked in both the hospital and private sectors. Initially working in neurology and physical injuries, and palliative care, she transitioned into her true calling in paediatrics. She is passionate about helping children build the skills and confidence they need for everyday life, at home, at school and in the community. She is the proud parent of 3 young children of her own.

Annie's approach is warm, play-based and strengths-focused. She values building strong relationships not only with the children she works with, but also with their parents, caregivers and teachers. Working together helps ensure the people around each child feel supported and confident in how to guide them and build on their skills in everyday life.
